My interpretation
This card asks the big questions: what good thing(s) are you afraid of that’s inside you? The demon mother symbolizes the pain that the creative “birthing” process can be... It’s what we focus on—the self-doubt, the roller coaster of ego and chatter of the outside world, the toil. It’s called labor for a reason. But what follows that is sweeter because that contrast exists. Both can be appreciated. What about focusing on the relief that comes from the release? What about savoring the conception and completion and letting the in between go? Would it feel easier to create if you gave yourself permission to do this?

What project feels most like your baby right now? How are you resisting it? What is your relationship to it? Does it feel like a burden or a joy to do? How can you be more open to flowing through those feelings without judgement? Would that change anything? What guidance can you give yourself right now that you’d like to hear from someone else?
